Volunteer - Hounslow Reach

What You'll Do: 

You'll be assisting the people we work with and help us achieve our aim of helping service users to manage and sustain their tenancies.

Duties include:

  • Make telephone welfare checks to people we support, providing tailored support to help people sustain their tenancy and supporting people to be part of, and connect with, their local community.
  • Research information about local community groups, advice / support services, and other resources that can assist the people we support to resolve a problem or query. The location of support can be delivered from our office in Harlesden or at one of community hubs / drop in services in the borough
  • To jointly visit clients in their homes or the community
  • Provide a written record of the contact and conversation we have with people, and ensure notes are well written and can be easily understood by others.
