Marrow Donor Recruitment Event Volunteer – Ongoing Opportunity

What You'll Do:

Want to make a real difference at uni without a big time commitment? Join us as an Event Volunteer and help out at Anthony Nolan events throughout the year!

You’ll be part of a group of students who support donor recruitment drives, fundraising activities, and awareness campaigns on campus. Whether it’s setting up stalls, chatting to students about stem cell donation, or helping out at fundraisers, your time and energy will help save lives.

No experience needed—we’ll give you everything you need to get started, and you’ll always be supported by the student team and Anthony Nolan staff.

What you’ll do:

  • Help run donor recruitment and awareness events on campus
  • Chat to students and encourage them to join the stem cell register
  • Support with fundraising activities
  • Be part of a supportive, friendly student team making an impact
  • This role is super flexible—you can volunteer as and when you’re available. Whether it’s once a term or every event, we’d love to have you involved.

Make friends. Gain experience. Help save lives.

Why You'll Love It:

Be a part of something bigger by helping save lives.

Every day, Anthony Nolan gives four people a second chance at life, thanks to volunteers like you.

What You'll Learn:

By volunteering with Marrow, you'll gain much more than just a great experience – here’s what you’ll get out of it in return:

  • Skills Development – Build experience in event planning, public speaking, teamwork, leadership, and communication.
  • Confidence Boost – Gain confidence in talking to people and representing a national charity.
  • Make New Friends – Meet like-minded students who care about making a difference.
  • Great for Your CV – Stand out to employers with real-world experience in volunteering and charity work.
  • Training and Support – Receive full training, resources, and ongoing support from Anthony Nolan staff.
  • Make a Real Impact – Help grow the stem cell register and potentially save lives.
  • Access to Events – Get the chance to attend regional and national Anthony Nolan Marrow conferences.
  • Flexible Volunteering – Get involved as much or as little as your schedule allows.
  • Feel-Good Factor – Know that your time and effort are directly helping people with blood cancer and blood disorders.
