Vlogger Volunteer

What You'll Do: 

At Epilepsy Action, we believe in the power of storytelling to create a supportive community for those affected by epilepsy. We are looking for an inspiring volunteers to share their unique experiences of living with epilepsy, helping us raise awareness, educate others, and empower those in similar situations.

 

What’s involved? As a Vlogger for Epilepsy Action, you will:

  • Create and share engaging video blogs (vlogs) that document your personal experiences of living with epilepsy.
  • Raise awareness about the challenges, triumphs, and daily realities faced by people with epilepsy.
  • Educate the public about epilepsy and amplify the voice of Epilepsy Action by promoting awareness and understanding.
  • Inspire and empower others to share their experiences, become more informed, and make a positive impact.

 

If you are ready to use your voice to help others and make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you! To apply, please complete our application form and include:

  • A short video (2-3 minutes) introducing yourself and explaining why you want to be a vlogger for Epilepsy Action

What You'll Learn: 
  • Producing regular vlogs that reflect your personal journey and insights on living with epilepsy, these will relate to some common themes or we may ask you to create content around one of our current campaigns
  • Collaborating with our Digital and Communications Teams to align your content with our broader awareness and advocacy campaigns
  • Engaging with viewers by responding to comments, questions and sharing relevant content across social media platforms
  • Participating in occasional live streaming events, webinars or Q&A sessions to further engage with our community
What We're Looking For: 
  • To live with epilepsy or be directly affected by it and be open to sharing your experiences in a relatable and authentic way
  • Comfortable and confident speaking in front of a camera and creating video content
  • To have a passion for storytelling and advocacy
  • To be familiar with using social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) to engage and grow an audience
  • To have basic video creation and editing skills (mobile phone-based editing tools are fine!)
