- To organise meetings with others charities to build closer relationships
- To support with event planning
- Working with ACAA staff on advocacy, policy and communications matters
- Developing ACAA’s media presence and PR
- Helping ACAA to secure awards and patronages
- Building partnerships with local groups, mosques, charities and local authorities
- Organising events and conferences
- Administration and research work
- Writing and responding to emails
You will get real hands-on experience with our charity and gain valuable work experience.
You will learn about the charity sector in the UK, including project coordination and fundraising, and tangible ways to support refugees and asylum seekers.
- Knowledge of UK and Afghan relations
- Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
- Interest in the charity sector, refugee issues and current affairs
