Coffee Morning Volunteer - (Merton)

What You'll Do: 
  • Create a Welcoming Environment, greeting attendees with warmth and a friendly attitude
  • Help set up the space, including arranging seating, preparing refreshments, and creating an atmosphere that feels safe and comfortable.
  • Encourage a sense of belonging and inclusion for all participants.
  • Support tidy-up duties after the session.
  • Be a calm, reassuring presence, offering empathetic listening without giving clinical or therapeutic advice.
  • Support attendees to build confidence in attending groups and engaging with others.
  • Maintain clear boundaries while being friendly and approachable.
  • Report any concerns, incidents, or wellbeing issues to staff promptly.
