Male Volunteers for Young Men

What You'll Do:

You will:
Empower young men to identify changes they wish to make and goals they wish to achieve.
Over 12 to 24 weekly sessions, mentors offer coaching style support to young men to help them achieve their goals and get them where they want to be.
Provide a listening ear and talk thorough the challenges young men face.
Support young men to make social connections with the local community or groups, refer and signpost them to other organisations providing more specialist support if needed.

Your mentoring will help young men break cycles of social isolation, improve family cohesion, and wellbeing by providing support in a wide range of issues.
By being part of the Unfold mentor family you will be helping us to have greater reach in making a positive impact in the lives of many vulnerable families and young people, living in Westminster.

Why You'll Love It:
  • Build on coaching and leadership skills as you support your mentee to achieve their goals
  • Receive comprehensive training around goal-setting, problem-solving, building rapport and safeguarding
  • Learn more about young people with differing and similar experiences to yourself
  • Join a network of like-minded individuals working to support and empower young people with more barriers to success
What We're Looking For:

There is no one size fits all, your individuality is what makes you unique! We welcome volunteers age 25+ from all backgrounds, with life experience, who are non-judgemental and will be committed to support other women on their journeys.

Your individuality and your life experience is what makes you unique and there is no one size fits all, we ask for your time and committed to help others on their journey to Unfold their full potential and we’ll help you with the rest.
