  • You will be able to signpost them to other support services
  • You will complete a one sided feedback sheet and join supervision and support sessions, where you can recieve peer support as well as professional support
  • You will have fun and learn from the person with aphasia.
Why You'll Love It:
  • You will get to know a person and build a rapport with them
  • You will learn about the wider support services that are out there
  • You will have support all the way from us and your peers
  • You will have fun and enjoy this opportunity
What You'll Learn:
  • You will learn about good communication support
  • You will learn about the role of the Speech and Language Therapist in the Community
  • You will learn what wider support systems there are
  • You will learn to be organised and reliable
  • You will learn about safeguarding and risk management
What We're Looking For:
  • Someone who is a good communicator
  • Someone with an appetite to learn
  • Someone who is happy to travel via transport links or in their own car
  • Someone who is reliable and honest
