Islington Ecology Centre
Islington has three natures reserves: Gillespie Park, Barnsbury Wood and a section of Parkland Walk. These sites are managed by Islington's Nature Conservation Team. We hold a volunteer day each Thursday for anyone that would like to help us manage and maintain the reserves. The biodiversity and natural habitats in this inner London borough are so important and it's our job to look after them.
ABOUT US:

Join the team on Thursdays to help maintain these three beautiful nature reserves. There are two sessions: 10am - 12pm and 1.15pm - 3.15pm. You don't need to have any previous experience - we'll teach you everything you need to know!

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

Nature is so important and in a central London borough with very little greenspace, it's more important than ever. Not only that, but working outdoors can be fantastic for our mental health. It's a win win!
