Survivors Can Shine is a Camden-based organisation led by people with lived experience. We work to empower and protect children and young people, ensuring they are seen and heard by providing platforms to celebrate and amplify their voices. We are working in partnership with local youth services and receiving support from BBC Children in Need and Radio 1Xtra to run our Ambassadors for Change Project. The project culminates in The Ambassadors for Change Community Event, taking place on the iconic Hampstead Heath on Saturday, May 25th. It will be an uplifting event to mark International Family Day, providing our young people with the opportunity to perform the creative pieces they've been working on and have their voices heard by public figures and the wider community. The Mayor of London will be attending to present the young people with their Ambassadors for Change awards.
The Ambassadors for Change event on Hampstead Heath is a celebration of International Family Day, emphasising the significance of family in all its forms and the collective effort to protect children and ensure that they are seen and heard. In collaboration with youth services and schools across Camden, the event aims to create a meaningful and memorable impact within the community. Our Ambassadors for Change community event is uplifting and engaging and provides an opportunity for connection and social togetherness. By interacting with the local community, we all become part of a positive movement for change and help create a lasting legacy to impact generations to come.
We look for people who are passionate about making a positive impact and are willing to get stuck in. We're a small but dedicated team committed to social change. We are looking for volunteers for the Ambassadors For Change Community Event. We are in search of people who are enthusiastic with excellent communication skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to be part of a positive movement for change.
