HR Officer

What You'll Do: 

As a HR Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment, candidate screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.

- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and grievances confidentially and promptly.

- Performance Management: Administer appraisals, identify training needs, and coordinate development programs.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR records on Monday.com.

- Policy Development: Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring adherence.

- Health & Safety: Support health and safety initiatives and compliance.

What We're Looking For: 

Qualifications and Experience:

- Proven experience in an HR Officer role or similar position.

- Strong understanding of UK employment laws and HR best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable. 

- Passion for working within the charity sector and supporting the welfare of children and young people.

- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy.
