eBay Volunteer

What You'll Do:

Core responsibilities

  • To photograph and list items selected to sell
  • Write clear descriptions of items
  • Helping with sorting of donations and making sure items are good quality
  • Helping to package the item ready to be posted
  • Researching to identify an item’s worth and the cost of postage and packaging

The eBay office is based in North Street Romford and is open Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm. Volunteers usually take a morning or afternoon shift.

Why You'll Love It:

This is an interesting role as you are never sure how much something will be worth or what it will sell for on eBay. There is a lovely team of volunteers that work in this role supporting each other with the tasks in hand.

What You'll Learn:

You will learn lots about online charity retail including pricing, listing items etc.

What We're Looking For:

No specific skills are needed but photography and computer skills would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.

An understanding of eBay and selling goods online would be desirable.
